Abstract

The result of the literature survey about the possibility inhibition of copper corrosion in different conditions using thiazole and triazole derivatives are presented in this review. As potential inhibitors for copper corrosion several organic molecules have been investigated, but as it is well known, in the most cases, molecules which contain hetero atoms as nitrogen, sulfur exhibit good inhibition properties against copper corrosion. Thiazole and triazole derivatives belong to the group of compounds which exhibits inhibition properties against copper corrosion in different media.
